As soon as I fired the first shot I knew that I was in love, with guns that is. I had been wanting one for quite some time. Maybe my fascination was due to two harrowing experiences on the wrong end of a gun when I was much younger.
Since then I have gotten my Concealed Handgun License (now called License to Carry). I have also been shooting competitively on a regular basis in IDPA, USPSA, 2 Gun and 3 Gun. I am an NRA and IDPA Safety Officer.
Gene and I were high school sweethearts (of the long distance kind). It is a long drive from Tennessee to Texas so we rarely got to see each other. We did some serious letter writing though. Gene moved to Tennessee just after I graduated from college and a few years later we tied the knot. Ten years after we had met. We eventually moved to Texas and have been here ever since.
I have been expressing my creative side lately by making bullet jewelry and even started our own company Range Angel Designs.
I am completely hooked on everything shooting related. What makes it even more enjoyable is being able to share it with my husband, Gene.
