The Ava holster and Reddy for Duty belt

It was time to get a conceal carry holster and a good sturdy belt.  There a lot of options out there and believe me I spent a lot of time researching on the internet and talking to friends about what the right choice would be for me.

I chose the Ava holster made by Flashbang.  It is made to be worn inside the waistband.  It is a hybrid holster which means it is part leather and part thermoplastic.  It has a beautiful purple suede backing which makes it extremely comfortable against my skin.  I can wear it all day without any discomfort.

There are two very strong clips which keep the holster from moving.  The clips can be raised or lowered which allows for up to nine different cants/positions.  I moved both clips up one hole on each side which makes the holster sit lower which is more comfortable for me.

The Ava can actually be worn with or without a belt and can be worn on different areas of the waist.  This holster has a smaller cut than typical hybrid holsters which makes it easier to be worn in the appendix position which is what I prefer.

The holster belt that I chose is called Reddy for Duty.  It is a 1.5" black leather belt which is distressed so it has a worn look which I love.  The more I wear it the more distressed it gets.  It has a beautiful large antiqued silver buckle and a red suede backing.  It is not only stylish, but it is very sturdy and really holds it's shape well.  Flashbang has a three variations of this belt which I would all eventually like to own.

As you can see, this holster and belt are not bulky which is very important when concealed carrying.  I am very pleased with both my Ava holster and Reddy for Duty belt.  I can wholeheartedly recommend both of these Flashbang products.
